Watch recordings

Tap Record on the watch, speak, then tap Save. Pauses in speech and a sleeping watch display should not end your recording. Check the saved duration before starting another thought.

  1. Recording with a running timer means the microphone is active.
  2. Saved on watch means audio is stored locally and waiting to reach the phone. Transfers retry automatically when connected.
  3. Saved on phone · Cloud pending means the phone has the recording. Cloud backup and analysis are still pending.
  4. Saved in cloud confirms the cloud has received and processed the complete saved file.
  5. Stopped early means an interruption occurred. The available audio is kept; check its duration.

Phone and laptop

The finished thought appears under New on your connected phone and laptop, with its original audio and text. Refresh New if it has not appeared yet.

Watch uploads use your phone's existing DriveSync Watch folder. Wi-Fi is required by its current setting. If Cloud pending lasts, open ThoughtBucket Watch Link on the phone and check DriveSync. Saved on phone alone does not confirm cloud backup.

Recording in this browser

Keep ThoughtBucket open and the device awake while recording here. Browser and laptop sleep can interrupt the microphone. Completed audio stays on this device until cloud receipt is confirmed; interrupted drafts can be recovered, downloaded, or sent from Capture.
